What does IS-BAH mean and why is it so relevant for FBOs?
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) is a globally recognised quality and safety standard for FBOs and business aviation handling agents. Based on a structured safety management system (SMS), IS-BAH creates measurable safety, international comparability and transparent processes.
IS-BAH certification is not a legal requirement, but a voluntary commitment to achieving the highest standards. The fact that we are certified at all our FBOs underlines our commitment to offering our customers, partners and crews maximum quality, transparency and safety, regardless of which of our FBOs you land at.
Certification is divided into three stages:
Stage 1: The Safety Management System (SMS) is established and documented
Stage 2: Safety measures are in place and are reviewed
Stage 3: Safety management is fully integrated into the corporate culture

Dubai: IS-BAH Stage 3
Our FBO in Dubai (OMDW) has achieved the highest level of certification and is one of only two IS-BAH Stage 3 locations in the Middle East. This distinction stands for a consistently practised safety culture in one of the most important international air traffic hubs.
Munich/Oberpfaffenhofen: IS-BAH Stage 1
At our Bavarian location (EDMO), our FBO focuses on structured processes, an established safety management system and handling that combines efficiency and safety.
Malta: IS-BAH Stage 1
As a strategic hub in the Mediterranean, our location in Malta (LMML) scores with high capacity, fast handling processes and certified safety.
Nice: IS-BAH Stage 1
