Press Release: DC Aviation Malta opens redesigned premium passenger and crew facilities at Malta International Airport

Renovated facility combines premium lounge space, operational efficiency and discreet service for passengers, crews and operators.

Malta, April 13, 2026: DC Aviation Malta opened its redesigned facilities at Malta International Airport during an exclusive event on April 10, 2026. The launch welcomed guests for a first look at the upgraded premises, which were designed to meet the evolving needs of passengers and crews while supporting efficient ground operations.

Completed in collaboration with leading designers, the renovation modernized the facility’s infrastructure, equipment and layout to enhance operational efficiency while elevating comfort, privacy and service quality.

The redesigned premises include separate passenger and crew lounges, private restrooms, a meeting room, and dedicated management and operations offices. Aligned with the visual identity of DC Aviation Group, the interior combines natural materials and refined furnishings to create a calm, comfortable environment.

“What sets our facility apart is the combination of efficient aircraft handling and a premium, highly personalized service experience,” says Stanley Bugeja, Managing Director of DC Aviation Malta. “From fast turnarounds to discreet concierge support, every detail has been designed to make each visit smooth, efficient and tailored to our clients’ needs.”

A key advantage of the facility is its location adjacent to the aprons 2 and 3 at Malta International Airport. During technical stops, passengers can remain in an elegant lounge just steps from the aircraft, helping reduce transfers and waiting time, subject to applicable airport procedures. Crews benefit from dedicated spaces that combine comfort and functionality, including private rest areas and fully equipped workstations.

With its strategic location, modern infrastructure and focus on safety, reliability and service, the facility further strengthens DC Aviation Malta’s position as a trusted partner for operators, passengers, and crews seeking a premium ground handling experience.
