DC Aviation Group @ White Turf 2023

White Turf is a world-famous horse race held on the frozen Lake of St. Moritz in Switzerland. The event takes place every year on three weekends in February and sometimes March and is known for its unique setting and exciting races.

Annually, the event attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world to experience the thrill of the races and the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss Alps. The White Turf offers a variety of different formats. Among them are flat races, trotting races and skijoring races, where horses pull skiers behind them. In addition to the official race Sundays, Family Days are held, where young talents can compete.

This year, DC Aviation Group was present again with a lounge during the race Sundays, as well as the third Family Day. With bright sunshine and sometimes icy temperatures, we were happy to welcome horse racing fans from all over the world.

A personal highlight was the last flat race on the final race Sunday, which was sponsored by the DC Aviation Group and held under the title "Prize DC Aviation". Due to the situation, the  planned race over 1,800 meters hat to be shortened to 800 meters. In a thrilling race Mark Hänni's Play All Day under Rene Piechulek came out on top, fending off the attacks of Saphira Dream and Fiesta. At this point, congratulations to all winners for their performance.

All in all, the White Turf season 2023 was a great success. We are alreday looking forward to next year's season, which will definitely be as exciting and memorable as this year's.
