For example, our internal 24/7 Operations Control Center hires exclusively employees who have a dispatcher license. Our experienced dispatchers plan and monitor your flight with particular care and are capable of optimally adjusting your individual flight plan even in the case of changes in short-notice.
Our flight personnel are selected according to the most stringent selection criteria and are distinguished through many years of experience. They are also trained and educated according to the highest quality standards. Proof of this is our cabin personnel who regularly trained and further educated in the areas of Safety and Emergency Procedures by Lufthansa Flight Training (LFT). The training sessions, which are conducted by highly experienced Lufthansa trainers, also deal with the topics of “Real Fire Fighting”, “Sea Survival”, and “Dangerous Goods”. In addition, we train our cabin personnel in the areas of Security and Crew Resource Management. In the annually recurring First-Aid training, our cabin personnel is trained in handling the defibrillator, etc.; DC Aviation provides the newest automated defibrillators in all aircraft of its fleet. Comprehensive and regular training and further education in the area of “VIP Service” concludes our extensive training program.
In addition to multiple days of ground school, the pilots receive up to 32 hours of simulator training per year. Our captains additionally complete a check flight from the right pilot seat and thus receive a Right Hand Seat Qualification. In this manner, the deployment of two captains on a flight including Low Visibility Operation (up to Category CAT IIIb) can be ensured.
